Report security and vulnerabilities

Do you see a security problem? Report it confidentially so that it can be investigated without further disseminating other people's data.

Text version

How do you report a vulnerability?

Email to redactie@jurismedia.nl. Describe the affected area, the route and what you observed. Share only the minimum information necessary to understand the problem.

Do not include an access code, password, access link or personal information in the subject of the email. If sensitive technical details are required, first ask how you can provide them appropriately.

Minimize the impact on others

Do not use other people's data for further testing, do not download files, or change or delete information. Do not perform disruption, automated bulk testing or social engineering. A report is not permission to gain access or circumvent security.

If you unexpectedly see data that is not intended for you, stop, write down only what is necessary to report the situation, and do not share that data publicly. A report to the editor does not replace your own legal obligations.

What can you deduce from this page?

This reporting route is not proof of an independent security audit and does not contain a promise of a reward, immunity or a fixed investigation period. Security measures can limit risks; they do not exclude all risks.
